Johnson Tidsall have been one of Derby’s leading accountancy firms for more than five decades and are experts in accountancy, auditing, VAT, corporation tax, payroll, bookkeeping, and tax planning. They also offer specialist support on starting a business, company secretarial services, corporate finance, succession planning and Sage software – their aim is to make managing accounts simple, straightforward and hassle free!

The team at Johnson Tidsall are continuously working towards deadlines, therefore it is imperative that their systems are always up and running with no problems as system failing results in unhappy clients, missed deadlines, fines and penalties.

For over 20 years they have had a managed print agreement with DNS however more recently they are communications customers too.

Managed Services that aren’t a liability

Before working with DNS, they had an unmanaged, expensive fleet of printers as well an ageing phone system (not suitable for working remotely & not flexible enough for their needs). Therefore, their need to become more flexible and save time led Johnson Tidsall to DNS.

Sidenote: A favourite feature for them is the ability to use their mobiles as if they were handsets in the office, therefore being able to call team members at just the click of a button whether they are working from home or out of the office.

 

Have we made the right choice?

Johnson Tidsall have always purchased their print devices outright meaning committing to a lease over several years was something very new and daunting.

Another big change was moving to a cloud hosted phone system, the team couldn’t afford to have any downtime within working hours when their new phone system was implemented and in use.

These concerns were soon forgotten when the services were up and running and the Johnson Tidsall team have given positive feedback about their new processes.
